He is a missionary with WorldVenture who has lived in the Ukrainian cities of Donetsk and Kyiv for over 20 years and traveled to numerous other cities across Eurasia.
He has taught cross-cultural and urban missions in various Ukrainian seminaries, including Donetsk Christian University and Kyiv Theological Seminary.
John currently teaches at Ukrainian Evangelical Theological Seminary in Kyiv and is the director of their master’s program, “Mission in the Modern City”.
He is also the WorldVenture coordinator for global urban discipleship strategy.
John received hiss PhD in Intercultural Studies at Biola University and published a book in 2020 based on his research Factors Behind the Ukrainian Evangelical Missionary Surge from 1989 to 1999.
