Dr. Liew had been living and working in six different countries across three continents, as the Asia Pacific Senior Regional Manager for Environmental Protection in steelmaking, synthetic fibre and resin industries. Her portfolio covered environmental technology R&D industrialization as well as management system establishment and supervision of MNCs in the Asia Pacific Region.
She was credited with the total revamp of the steelmaking plant and received the ISO14001 Accreditation for Environmental Management System for the company within 12 months from the get-go. Playing a role to help the corporation upgrade its management efficiency, she turned her professional training to her advantage to achieve higher and more effective management efficiencies and build up teams by way of management philosophy based on her convictions in these fields.
